Chakra Flow

I was wondering if there is any possibility that this technique makes use of chakra flow, considering the way in which it functions and the distinctive aura that is present, both when the shuriken collides with the ground and the unnamed Suna-nin. Blackstar1 (talk) 15:57, August 22, 2011 (UTC)

Edit conflict. Possible. This certainly looks like chakra flow, specially if compared to Gold Dust techniques. Omnibender - Talk - Contributions 22:48, August 22, 2011 (UTC)
Then I guess the next question would relate to just how possible exactly, i.e. worthy of note or not? We have in the past attributed chakra flow to techniques where it hasn't been explicitly stated, however, those all dealt with basic natures and so could be compared but if I'm correct, we have yet to see an advanced nature used in such a way which only adds to the difficulty. It does seem like chakra flow the way the technique has been described to us.-Cerez365 Hyūga Symbol 16:42, August 27, 2011 (UTC)

It would also provide some explanation as to why the technique differs so greatly from both the use of Iron Sand and Gold Dust, especially if we are under the assumption that Magnet Release relates to the generation of magnetic fields, which in turn could be manipulated by the Kazekages to alter the trajectory of the aforementioned materials. I guess the only thing that creates doubt for myself, is the inconsistency in the depiction of the aura, as it is not demonstrated in every instance but there are possible explanations for this. Rename?

I've been thinking the name doesn't fit. Its possible for Toroi to magnetize other weapons, not just shuriken. Skarrj (talk) 22:51, April 15, 2012 (UTC)

It is possible, but, from the style of shuriken, they were his preferred weapon of choice. Hence the technique is named for what it employs.--Cerez365Hyūga Symbol(talk) 22:53, April 15, 2012 (UTC)

Just like Naruto's technique is called Rasen-Shuriken. I'm sure that if he applied a changed shape manipulation, he could do a Wind Release: Rasen Kunai if he wanted--Elveonora (talk) 23:36, April 15, 2012 (UTC)
