About 8 bits. And that's not a joke, it's the processing power if I'm not mistaken. Old computers used to process 8bit and got moved up to 16.... Clocks are nothing special in terms of technology, they've been around for about two hundred years already and were preceded by hourglasses and sundials along with other accurate means of telling the time, they aren't spectacular in a world that has VCRs.
