The whole point of us ever having two images in the infobox was because we're anal about what they look like. This page, like many other character pages I've been seeing, have a completely out of place list of elements for jutsu that the character is never shown using, have no citations, no jutsu listed that use such, and we don't appear to even be distinguishing between anime only or not anymore.
  +
  +
When was Konan EVER shown using wind, water, or earth? Looking at her jutsu list NONE of them use ANY of these elements. Yang? She was stated to use that? If not, are we substituting speculation in place of facts now? Until it can be proven that she canonically used Wind, Water, Earth, or Yang jutsu, these should be removed. If they're only in anime or video games, they should be labelled appropriately. I'm going to have to go around to a bunch of other character pages with a similar message now, because... Kakashi never uses Wind at all, and he only uses Fire in the anime, and yet he's listed as using all six elements for some reason. Same for Orochimaru, who is never shown using Lightning, Fire, Water, Wood, or Yang (I'm assuming Yin is supposed to represent Genjutsu), and yet has all elements+wood. Jiraiya never uses Wind and explicitly doesn't use Genjutsu, but has Wind and Yin Chakra Natures.

::Okay, so it's stated in a book but it's never shown or indicated anywhere in the series itself, and it directly contradicts what's shown and established in the canon series, but it's the secondary sources that are treated as more legitimate. Whatever, I guess. Though, Omnibender, while I appreciate the answer, please try not to be so condescending. Just because someone wrote that someone uses something in a section doesn't inherently mean it's true. I DID "bother" to read those sections. But when someone has literally ZERO techniques that use a given element or are only ever shown using it in filler, and the only supposed evidence is outside information that doesn't match the series, it is entirely logical to wonder what's going on. It's a discrepancy between what's said in databooks (which have been wrong before) and what's actually shown and stated in the real legitimate series. That's a pretty big discrepancy. You can explain without being rude about it. Like, it's specifically stated that it's "unheard of" for someone to have all six Chakra Natures unless they have the Rinnengan pretty early on, and Kakashi is only shown using Water, Earth, and Lightning in all canon sources, but because a book says he's a Rinnegan-user without a Rinnegan, now it's true? And you don't think that sounds fishy enough for someone to ask questions? Seriously. Suzuchiha (talk) 21:40, January 10, 2016 (UTC)

:::It doesn't contradict anything at all. Just because some characters weren't shown using a particular elemental jutsu, it doesn't mean they already aren't capable of using the natures at all. Rather, it would be so by default IF there were no databooks. Fortunately, we have them, thus we have more info which complements the info given in manga. "Someone" who wrote it is Kishimoto himself, he must actually know what he writes. Yeah, there always are some errors in Databook info, yet Kishi is also a human, it's only natural to make mistakes. But not here, cause there's no contradiction. For example, in the Databook only Madara is listed as the user of Perfect Susanoo > the manga events prove it wrong (Sasuke's, Kakashi's, Indra's use) > an obvious error. However, you can't find a condradiction when there's no contradicting material even shown. Besides, anime stuff is less cannon than manga OR the Databooks' info, and it often contradicts not only them, but even some previous anime statements as well, and the one about inability to master all 5 natures comes exactly from there (never stated in the manga though). There's nothing in the Databook implying that Kakashi is a Rinnegan user, albeit he's listed as the user of all 5 natures. Even in anime it was already shown that one person is able to master 5 elements without any enhancements (Hiruzen using this), so the statement about inability to do so is proven wrong even there. Manga image

Why do we have a manga image in the infobox? For all I can see, the difference is hair colour. This should just be mentioned in the appearance section or in the Trivia section, adding the manga image into the infobox seems pointless when an anime image is available and is also in use in the infobox. --Speysider Talk Page | My Image Uploads | Tabber Code | Channel 17:12, August 14, 2013 (UTC)

Eye colour and piercing colour are both wrong in the anime.--BeyondRed (talk) 17:56, August 14, 2013 (UTC)
.... and that can't just be mentioned in the Appearance section? Colouring differences are not even remotely valid to use in an argument over image use in the infobox. --Speysider Talk Page | My Image Uploads | Tabber Code | Channel 17:57, August 14, 2013 (UTC)
I agree with Speysider. We have images of her that are pretty good right now (like this one ). We could remove the image that's currently in the appearance section (of the three ame orphans. Not sure why it's in the appearance section) and add the infobox one as a replacement. Joshbl56 20:15, August 14, 2013 (UTC)
