I have a question. In the list of kinjutsu, techniques like All Directions Shuriken are not listed. They are not called kinjutsu on their articles either. Yet, they cannot be performed without a kinjutsu (e.g. All Direction Shuriken cannot be performed without Multiple Shadow Clone Technique.) So, are they kinjutsu or not?--Enoki911 (talk) 06:56, January 10, 2010 (UTC)

Well, if you want to get technical, the All Directions Shuriken can be performed with just the regular Shadow Clone Technique, which would not make it a kinjutsu. --ShounenSuki (talk | contribs) 16:19, January 10, 2010 (UTC)
Could it? I mean, would there be enough shuriken for it to be considered the same technique?--76.233.199.1 (talk) 17:57, January 10, 2010 (UTC)
Above comment mine.--Enoki911 (talk) 20:41, January 10, 2010 (UTC)
Perhaps, perhaps not. I could see how someone could manage to get the same effect using regular Shadow Clones combined with the Shuriken Shadow Clone Technique. --ShounenSuki (talk | contribs) 22:41, January 10, 2010 (UTC)
If the user would have to combine those two techniques, then it wouldn't be the same technique. It would be shadow clones using an entirely different ninjutsu, not a lot of shadow clones using pure taijutsu.--Enoki911 (talk) 23:57, January 10, 2010 (UTC)

So? The effects of the technique stay the same and the workings only change slightly. Still, even without using the Shuriken Shadow Clone Technique, one could still get the same effects as the All Directions Shuriken, only on a smaller scale. the point is that there is no need, nor any evidence that All Directions Shuriken requires the Multiple Shadow Clone Technique and would thus need to be considered a kinjutsu. --ShounenSuki (talk | contribs) 01:44, January 11, 2010 (UTC)

Looking back in the manga, it seems Naruto doesn't use all the clones he created with the Multiple Shadow Clone Technique to perform the All Directions Shuriken. We only see Naruto use eight clones and judging by the amount of shuriken we see, it couldn't have been many more. The others are all used for the Uzumaki Naruto Two Thousand Combo. --ShounenSuki (talk | contribs) 02:00, January 11, 2010 (UTC)
You're right. There were only a few clones.--Enoki911 (talk) 03:15, January 11, 2010 (UTC)
As long as we're on the topic, what about other techniques, such as the Uzumaki Naruto Two Thousand Combo? Are they kinjutsu?--Enoki911 (talk) 02:13, January 23, 2010 (UTC)

Meaning

What does extreme harm mean? Is it death, loss of limbs and organs or extreme fatigue?Undominanthybrid (talk) 16:16, May 4, 2012 (UTC)

It means such as the effect of the original use of Wind Release: Rasenshuriken or, as it says in the article, usage of the Multiple Shadow Clone Technique. Techniques that do extreme damage to the user, basically. Skitts (talk) 16:56, May 4, 2012 (UTC)
Extreme harm can mean any adverse affect that the technique carries. So yes to all of those that you mentioned.--Cerez365 Hyūga Symbol (talk) 21:06, May 4, 2012 (UTC)
