Second Hokage Death?

Just curious to know, where exactly is it stated the the second hokage was killed by Ginkaku and Kinkaku? the second was killed by the Kinkaku force. As proof of this, it is stated that the brothers were criminals and ALMOST killed the second leaving him on the "verge of death". If the second survived this ordeal when making the peace treaty with kumo, he must have been killed afterwards in a war between the two, in which the brothers were either killed (very possibly in the battle against the second hokage and raikage) or were considered criminals and most likely did not take part in the war as they were either missing nin or in prison by that point. Furthermore, in Danzo's flashback it was clearly stated that the Kinkaku force was a larger group of shinobi that did no necessarily have the Kin and Gin brothers in them. —This unsigned comment was made by (talkcontribs) .

Tobirama survived that fight, but he died shortly after giving his title to Sarutobi. We saw the scene in the flashback Danzo had. Tobirama mentions being cornered by the Kinkaku Force. Seems likely the brothers had something to do with it —This unsigned comment was made by (talkcontribs) .

Shikamaru said that Tobirama died fighting the brothers, which means the two had to have been in the Kinkaku Force to do so. We should add this. (talk) 11:49, October 9, 2012 (UTC)

Which episode? Jacce | Talk | Contributions 13:26, October 9, 2012 (UTC)
Shippuden episode 270/chapter 529. --The Goblin 15:08, October 9, 2012 (UTC)
Shikamaru said defeated, not killed. Tobirama was left on the brink of death after the brothers' attempted hostile takeover. That is defeat. Still doesn't definitely link them to the Kinkaku Force. It would be odd for them to still be operating as a Kumo team after that level of betrayal.--Cerez365Hyūga Symbol(talk) 15:12, October 9, 2012 (UTC)

Hi, wouldn't Ginkaku be considered a Pseudo-Jinchūriki, just like Sora from the anime? He fits the description perfectly. since he is not a full Jinchūriki, but still contains the Nine-Tails chakra in this body. He even has control of it and uses it to weild some of the five weapons. --Dragon Hacker (talk) 17:02, February 11, 2011 (UTC)

Jinchuriki have had something sealed into them. G&K were apparently marinated with something. Not the same. ~SnapperTo 17:16, February 11, 2011 (UTC)

Subtle appearances

I made my first edit in narutopedia some days ago, and i would like other users to think carefully before they edit pages. i added a comment that the gold and silver brothers' faces had the subtle appearance of lions and it was edited. To the culprit, i was just some guy fooling around, but if he was the observant type, he'd see in some panels, the brothers' facial appearance bears semblance to lions. I'm pissed off that someone thinks my keen observation for a joke and no matter how manny edits it takes, i'll keep adding that little fact! —This unsigned comment was made by (talkcontribs) .

If it was taken, it simply wasn't deemed important. If a character had said something like them looking like lions, it wouldn't be a different matter. Omnibender - Talk - Contributions 17:56, February 19, 2011 (UTC)

Just a Question, Was Ginkakus Hair changed in the Novel? in his first appearance his hair wasnt shaded in and now it is, is that because it was changed for the novel?? (talk) 23:41, June 14, 2011 (UTC)

It's just the tankobon image is all. His hair is silver though.--Cerez365 Hyūga Symbol 23:46, June 14, 2011 (UTC)
I figured it was one of those "Subtle" changes Kishmoto makes when the chapters are put into novel form. Thanks it was kinda bugging me that I didnt know. (talk) 23:48, June 14, 2011 (UTC)

Fox forms

Since he and his brother were in the fox for 2 weeks and Kinkaku showed a six tails form, and its mentioned they both have the same mosnterous chakra, should we add to his article that Ginkaku most likely has a miniature fox form? —This unsigned comment was made by (talkcontribs) .

Not until it is shown. Omnibender - Talk - Contributions 21:48, February 20, 2011 (UTC)

Yes but how about putting as a note of possibility? —This unsigned comment was made by (talkcontribs) .

That counts as mentioning it. Omnibender - Talk - Contributions 22:17, February 20, 2011 (UTC)

The 529th chapter has confirmed Ginkaku and his brother came out of the fox in demon fox cloaks when initially vomitted out. The wording was 'The brothers came out looking exactly like that' (referring to the six tailed cloak of Ginkaku) this means by default Ginkaku has one, and should be noted in either his abilties or trivia —This unsigned comment was made by (talkcontribs) .

It's there already. Omnibender - Talk - Contributions 00:20, February 25, 2011 (UTC)
  • Since the cloud ninja mentions 'exactly' as an appearance, should we note the obvious indication that Ginakku's demon form was identical wih a giant tail? —This unsigned comment was made by (talkcontribs) .

Should we illustrate the fox chakra of ginkaku and his brother with this image? It was taken straight from the episode —This unsigned comment was made by (talkcontribs) .

Bias Issue

This character and his brother are listed as deceased, while others in the same position as them are listed as incapacitated. I don't yet have the authority to edit the boxes so please help. I am new here.—This unsigned comment was made by Michael Flores (talkcontribs) .

They are listed as deceased because they were already dead before they were sealed away.--Deva 27 00:15, March 11, 2011 (UTC)
And there's no point in bringing up the same topic in more than one talk page. Pick one and stick to it. Also, sign your posts, just put in four tildes after your message. Omnibender - Talk - Contributions 00:16, March 11, 2011 (UTC)
So in that case, I recommend that the 3 of us check the comic to identify the cause of death and write "This brother was stabbed/cut/shot with so and so before being put in the Benihisago." Is that a good choice? Michael Flores (talk) 01:45, March 11, 2011 (UTC)
Nope. As far as infobox listing purposes go, you're either alive, incapacitated, presumed deceased, or known to be deceased. Once you're dead, you're dead. Omnibender - Talk - Contributions 02:14, March 11, 2011 (UTC)
Unless you're Gaara or Kakashi.
The fact of the matter is that, for Impure World Resurrection to work, the target needs to be dead. Because Impure World Resurrection works on G&K, they are dead. ~SnapperTo 04:24, March 11, 2011 (UTC)

(To both of you) I hav'entread ALL the manga, so I don't know if that particular jutsu was used on them. Either way, I simply do not recall them being hit with anything that felt destructive to their bodies.Michael Flores (talk) 00:58, March 12, 2011 (UTC)

You might want to start reading the manga better. You're missing some vital information here. —ShounenSuki (talk | contribs | translations) 09:52, March 12, 2011 (UTC)

Can't see first and second pic. Third works, though. After hitting Ctrl + F5 for multiple times, second worked and then not again. What's wrong here? ô.o Seelentau 愛 21:28, June 7, 2011 (UTC)

I think it's part of our cache problem.----Cerez365 Hyūga Symbol 21:30, June 7, 2011 (UTC)

Anime image

This one or this one? I personally don't like the second one because you can't even see his eyes. :/ --Speysider Talk Page | My Image Uploads | Tabber Code | My Wiki | Channel 13:32, June 28, 2012 (UTC)

Both are good, and Speysider, your image is turning to the right, infobox images are best if turning to the left, as for Aditya's, your image is 'pupil-less'. ~IndxcvNovelist (talk | contribs | PR | RLS) 13:43, June 28, 2012 (UTC)
A front facing image is better. The pupils are not a big issue. — ¤ULTIMATE SUPREME ¤ (T@lk) 05:24, June 29, 2012 (UTC)
Excluding the new proposed image, every other image shows the person's pupils. If the pupils aren't there, it really just looks horrible imo. --Speysider Talk Page | My Image Uploads | Tabber Code | My Wiki | Channel 09:16, June 29, 2012 (UTC)

Ginkaku being sucked

The anime depiction of him being sucked into the Benihisago is really bad imo. It's so blurred that it's hard to see the actual sucking up of Ginkaku. I don't think we should use the anime depiction of the image. --Speysider Talk Page | My Image Uploads | Tabber Code | My Wiki | Channel 14:27, July 5, 2012 (UTC)

I'm with changing it back to the manga image :\ akz! ANBU Symbol 14:32, July 5, 2012 (UTC)
Considering the angle of the image, I see nothing wrong with the image. Adding the manga image to it, imo would break the flow of the page (anime image, anime image, anime image, manga image)--TheUltimate3 Allied Shinobi Forces Symbol (talk) 14:35, July 5, 2012 (UTC)
