So, before I'm lynched for using "personal opinion" I suppose I should start this. I put the article up for deletion because of a few simple reasons. One house called it "Frog Smash" as we see here while the other simply called it "Frog-Fu". Going off this, the latter scanlator from what I have seen is more [trusted?] than the former who is apparently known for being a bit [over-the-top?] with his translations. Now personally I have no issue with the article staying until the raws come out and so on, but input from the rest of the community would be nice.--Cerez365Hyūga Symbol 13:21, January 11, 2012 (UTC)

I'm aware of the issues of trust involved with said scanlator, however, they were the only one to actually provide romaji (Tataki), which greatly differs from that used for Frog Kata (蛙組手, Kawazu Kumite). So, although I have no issue if your opinion is ultimately proven correct, until such a time that a raw becomes available, there is no real 'evidence' to warrant the articles deletion or even its consideration for such. Question though, doesn't the translators also provide the romaji? That was my interpretation of the "tatakai" being there and the variation between the translations. It could very well be that he chose to use the word 'tatakai' no? As for evidence to warrant it: please refer to my initial statement. I'm merely making use of the template and the role it was intended for.--Cerez365Hyūga Symbol 13:44, January 11, 2012 (UTC)
You would have to ask an actual translator for a full and correct explanation to this, but as far as I'm aware, although the translator does in fact provide the romaji, there is far less [to no?] room for interpretation as it is directly influenced by the kanji. For instance, 組, as used in Frog Kata, could only be interpreted as "kumi" because of its placement. However, as I said, only someone like ShounenSuki could give you a proper explanation (as I have no knowledge of japanese), although I doubt he would weigh in on this discussion without either a spoiler text or a raw to go off.
