Classification[]

Wondering about its classification, isn't a taijutsu or ninjutsu like most of Hyūga techniques? Still it's not cleared yet. —Shakhmoot Nadeshiko Village Symbol (Talk) 21:40, June 11, 2014 (UTC)

Doubt it. It's as much taijutsu as Naruto's chakra arms.--KotoTalk Page-My Contributions 21:46, June 11, 2014 (UTC)

Gentle Fist?[]

Isn't this the same as the Gentle Fist?--Rinneganmaster (talk) 22:04, June 11, 2014 (UTC)

Other than the fact it was used, the entire article is one big speculation. Omnibender - Talk - Contributions 02:06, June 12, 2014 (UTC)
Should be deleted for now--Elveonora (talk) 13:11, June 12, 2014 (UTC)
Agreed with the deletion. The incessant need to create articles for every little thing is resurfacing again…--Cerez365Hyūga Symbol(talk) 13:19, June 12, 2014 (UTC)

this page should not be deleted .please why would a powerful technique of kaguya be deleted.what happened if it has similarity with gentle fist??technique is technique—This unsigned comment was made by User:Jajati (talkcontribs) .

Because we don't know what it is.--Elveonora (talk) 10:04, June 13, 2014 (UTC)

according to me the page should not be deleated . we should let it stay (Jajati (talk) 16:53, June 13, 2014 (UTC))

Except we don't know a thing about it. It does not matter what you think, if the community here feels the page should be deleted, it will be removed. I agree with Cerez's comment above. --Speysider Talk Page | My Image Uploads | Tabber Code | Channel 17:40, June 13, 2014 (UTC)

Ok,OK what ever. I don't want every one here to be mad of me. I was just giving my opinion. the rest is up to the community.(Jajati (talk) 17:09, June 14, 2014 (UTC))

I also agree with the deletion until we know more about this so called Jutsu.Munchvtec (talk) 06:30, June 16, 2014 (UTC)

Chakra Arms[]

How is this much (if any) different from Tailed Beast Chakra Arms? Being Shinju's jinchuriki makes sense for her to have that. Yatanogarasu (Talk) 07:26, June 16, 2014 (UTC)

I don't think it's any different, people are just overlooking it cause of the gentle fist thing that's all. Munchvtec (talk) 07:33, June 16, 2014 (UTC)
There is no Gentle Fist anything. Kaguya is not a Hyūga. We don't just assume something she's doing is the same because she has the Byakugan. She should be listed as using chakra arms. The Shinju's arms were humanoid after all.--Cerez365Hyūga Symbol(talk) 12:49, June 16, 2014 (UTC)
Except chakra arms look nothing like that. Chakra arms come from chakra cloak which is around the user's body, what Kaguya did resembles air pressure--Elveonora (talk) 12:55, June 16, 2014 (UTC)
I think you need to read the last section of the Tailed Beast Chakra Arms' article regarding Obito. If Naruto was using chakra arms then I don't see why Kaguya couldn't use it like that. Unless she was in fact using Multiple Eight Trigrams Vacuum Wall Palms or maybe Mother of the Six Paths' Senjutsu? --Cerez365Hyūga Symbol(talk) 13:16, June 16, 2014 (UTC)
Obito's chakra arms looked exactly like any other. Kaguya's attack looks like Guy's Evening Elephant just with fists.--Elveonora (talk) 13:23, June 16, 2014 (UTC)

Kaguya's looked exactly like Naruto's this chapter, which we know are tailed beast chakra arms. Omnibender - Talk - Contributions 13:56, June 16, 2014 (UTC) Kaguya's attacks were different than Naruto's as Naruto's attacks had a black balls in them and extended out from his body while kaguya's are unattached to her body and lack the black sphere.Yahyanime (talk) 17:32, June 16, 2014 (UTC)

They are definitely tailed beast chakra arms. Elve, look at the last page. I think it was the last page at least, where Sasuke is leaping above her? You can see the shroud forming around her body where the arms extend from. It is most certainly the Shinju's chakra arms. You think that just because the arms look more humanoid they're an entirely different technique? Come on. You can't possibly logically make that argument. ~ Ten Tailed Fox Yamagakure Symbol 17:38, June 16, 2014 (UTC)

Everyone can have variations when using the same technique. Susanoo are different, Great Fireball have same appearances between users at times, at times the size is different and even a stream vs ball. Point is, every technique is capable of having variations based on the particular users. Yatanogarasu (Talk) 03:52, June 18, 2014 (UTC)

So, are we ok with putting Kaguya's use of this under regular TBCA? Omnibender - Talk - Contributions 12:05, June 18, 2014 (UTC)

Image[]

So, do we have any good images of this from before the last few episodes? They pointlessly made this jutsu look almost exactly like Naruto's TBCA, with the same "stretching" look, and even similar black markings Naruto has. Omnibender - Talk - Contributions 19:10, August 11, 2016 (UTC)

I don't recall any anime scene where the technique has a good pic. In its debut the clash between Naruto/Kaguya is so bright, that EGVA is hardly recognisable. In the 470 episode, it definetely looks like TB chakra arms and in the recent one it already resembles some kind of chakra claws. So I don't think we have a lot of options here. I'd rather say that manga image should stay, but anime depiction can be shown at least as a trivia point. Ravenlot 27 (talk) 19:18, August 11, 2016 (UTC)
The anime pic should be used on the page. I suspect we will later see Kaguya use the technique in the way the manga shows it, but for now, the anime depicted the technique in an appropriate manner. I don't believe its trivia worthy, they should Kaguya using purple fists, which is this technique: not every technique is going to look exactly the same as shown in the manga. --Sajuuk 08:57, August 13, 2016 (UTC)
Once anime shows actual technique with good quality, then we can put that anime image. But for now, manga image should stay since that shows actual technique, which the "chakra claws" are not. --JouXIII (talk) 12:25, August 13, 2016 (UTC)
I agree with Jou and Omni. Manga image with the actual depiction of the technique should be used and not her chakra claws.--Cerez365Hyūga Symbol(talk) 20:18, August 13, 2016 (UTC)
Regardless, the anime portral is still a depiction and should be shown alongside the manga depiction, unless of course you's would prefer to create a seperate article for it. --Sarutobii2 (talk) 22:25, August 13, 2016 (UTC)
Considering that chakra claws are obviously not Eighty Gods Vacuum Attack, that could be one alternative solution. Kaguya Ōtsutsuki's Chakra Claws or something like that. --JouXIII (talk) 23:21, August 13, 2016 (UTC)

Either create a separate article for the incorrect anime depiction, or just put it in the trivia section like we do with Susanoo? WindStar7125 Divine Mangekyō Sharingan VolteMetalic 23:28, August 13, 2016 (UTC)

I'd rather list all the wrong ways the jutsu was depicted in the trivia section. It's clearly meant to be EGVA, it was just terrible. Omnibender - Talk - Contributions 23:35, August 13, 2016 (UTC)
I guess that could work better. --JouXIII (talk) 00:27, August 14, 2016 (UTC)
It looked like it was the anime taking the time to focus their attention on details, the "claws" are just Kaguya's sharp fingernails, with a fist, just exactly as it's depicted by the manga. The manga obviously didn't go into the details by putting her fingernails into the fist.
In fact, the manga picture we currently have just shows a big fist. To be very honest, I would say the manga's depiction is just a purple version of the anime-only technique used by Chiriku, rather than being an original technique to Kaguya. --Sajuuk 09:27, August 14, 2016 (UTC)
Except databook specifically says Eighty Gods Vacuum Attack results with fists, nothing else. So as usual, Studio Pierrot screwed up. --JouXIII (talk) 11:43, August 14, 2016 (UTC)
Anyway in chapters 680 and 684, we can glimpse the black markings u.u , here [1] and [2]--Sharingan91 (talk) 11:50, August 14, 2016 (UTC)
Those would be called "speed blurs". --JouXIII (talk) 12:12, August 14, 2016 (UTC)
All in the same position???? LOL--Sharingan91 (talk) 12:18, August 14, 2016 (UTC)
Considering those can also be shading lines, and those tend to follow anatomy, yes. Omnibender - Talk - Contributions 16:18, August 14, 2016 (UTC)
Actually took the time to watch the ep and what exactly makes her recent usage a wrong depiction? The circular markings are present in the manga as well as her non fist usage? --Sarutobii2 (talk) 17:20, August 14, 2016 (UTC)

Still don't see the markings in any way other than speed/shading lines. I also think it's a terrible idea to have the main image of the article being a non-standard use of the jutsu. Omnibender - Talk - Contributions 17:48, August 14, 2016 (UTC)

Agreed.--JouXIII (talk) 18:07, August 14, 2016 (UTC)
If only we had the option of showing 2 images like we've done with other techniques. --Sarutobii2 (talk) 18:32, August 14, 2016 (UTC)
That could work too, but I notice with the Water Release: Great Waterfall Technique that while it shows both a manga and anime depiction, it appears that different users are using the technique differently between both depictions. In this case or the case of Sasuke's Susanoo, the same user is using the same technique, but it's shown differently in the manga and in the anime. Byakugan ability[]

Did the 4th Databook specifcally refer to this as a Byakugan ability?Yahyanime (talk) 15:43, March 29, 2017 (UTC)

It says that this technique can be become the strongest offence when coupled with Kaguya's dōjutsu, and when using it she activates her Byakugan. So it's probably a "Byakugan ability" the same way the Gentle Fist techniques are, in that the eye supports its use but isn't required.--BeyondRed (talk) 21:53, March 29, 2017 (UTC)
