I believe a decision is yet to be made, the topic and issue is open. I have removed them from Earth Release: Earth-Style Wall now, do we add them to this or not?--Elveonora (talk) 13:44, May 18, 2013 (UTC)
- In both of its appearances, this technique involved the ground opening up like a trap door, rather than simply rising. If what the alliance did wasn't just a (non-B ranked?) version of Earth-Style Wall, it's likely a new technique altogether.--BeyondRed (talk) 19:26, May 18, 2013 (UTC)

It's likely it's an all new technique. As for the article, remove them. For the new technique (most likely scenario), perhaps a new article named "Earth Barrier" or something? Idk, but we have unnamed techniques already. I don't think leaving it open-ended like that is going to help, and we'll never see mention of it again more than likely. --Taynio (talk) 13:20, May 21, 2013 (UTC)
Only way I can see this technique showing up again and being named is if it happens the same way Earth Release: Moving Earth Core happened. Ittan used it without naming it when he lowered the ground the escape Deidara's explosion, and used it again, this time naming it, when he raised the ground on Kankurō's orders, so the rising ground would hit a falling Sasori. - So what do you suggest? When an unnamed elemental technique holding resemblance to something is being used, it's usually considered to be the generic x nature technique. - For me, this is the closest technique we have to list them without creating a new article. The best thing to an article I think we can make is look in the raw for the description of the technique Shikamaru asks, and make it a la Mirage Genjutsu and Black Lightning. - I'm not for listing them as users of this technique because it looks nothing alike. This flips the group up literally, and the technique they used had earth rising out of the ground, not being displaced in neat squares. If we're not for adding them to the Earth-Style Wall technique because of its rank (even though everyone there are at least chūnin level), the I'm in favour of creating another technique based of a description.--Cerez365™
