Novel/Anime differences section?[]
Should there be a novel anime difference part to these anime episodes? If that is the case then the part of the third Hokage resigning and why he resigned would be a difference as well as the whole scene of Itachi spying on his dad meeting with the other Uchiha. I think the last difference would be Itachi meeting Shisui for the first time. I know they have limited time to do this arc but i think these details were actual some of the most interesting parts of the beginning of the novel. The whole thing about how the Uchiha were still being oppressed even before the nine tails attack with all their deeds during the war being over looked. As well as Fugaku being overlooked as a Hokage candidate even though he was feared as wicked eye Fugaku. The reasoning for two Hokage existing at once finally being known as well because aside from the current generation all previous kage died before their successor rose to power as far as I am aware. But given the Third's peaceful nature and the nature of the war it makes sense why he would be forced to resign as well as how Danzo continued to retain so much power.
