She was a leader of a group of spies from Takigakure, looking for the paper of Konoha's border patrol. She chased after Naruto Uzumaki who had the paper but was rescued by Iruka Umino. The kunoichi and her teammates where defeated by Kakashi and were probably taken for questioning.
