By applying shape transformation to the orb of black flames wielded by his Susanoo, Sasuke manifests a blade in its hand for the purpose of slicing and piercing targets, thus setting them ablaze with the inextinguishable flames of Amaterasu. Sasuke was able to use this blade to slice through Kabuto's Spider Web Unrolling technique with relative ease.[1]
Trivia
- Although the sword version is simply called "Blaze Release: Kagutsuchi" in the manga, in Naruto Shippūden: Ultimate Ninja Storm 3, it is named "Sword of Kagutsuchi" (加具土命の剣, Kagutsuchi no Tsurugi, literally meaning: Added Tool Earth-Lord Sword).
