By applying shape transformation to the orb of black flames wielded by his Susanoo, Sasuke manifests a blade in its hand for the purpose of slicing and piercing targets, thus setting them ablaze with the inextinguishable flames of Amaterasu.

Trivia

In chapter 585, Sasuke simply referred to this technique as Blaze Release: Kagutsuchi. However, in Naruto Shippūden: Ultimate Ninja Storm 3, it was given a unique name.
