Sumashi (スマシ) was a tokubetsu jōnin of Iwagakure.

Background

He and his group attacked Team Minato during the Third Great Shinobi War after they broke into Iwagakure territory. Congratulating the young shinobi for achieving this feat, he then attacked Kakashi after Kakashi and his teammate, Rin Nohara had managed to escape the landscape that had killed their team member, Obito Uchiha. Sumashi was however presumably killed after Minato Namikaze teleported to his team's side after being alerted that the kunai he gave Kakashi was thrown.
