Shin'emon is a world famous potter that is obsessed with his work. He only appears in the anime. During the filler arc, he treats Kiba Inuzuka and Naruto Uzumaki poorly and dosn't seem to care about the trouble they get into. At the end of the arc, after his art is destroyed, he simply decides to make another pot, much to Kiba and Naruto's dismay.
