Shigure (シグレ) was a Genin from Amegakure. He was also the leader of Team Shigure.
Appearance
Shigure has spiky brown hair with a strip of gauze covering his forehead and his mouth partly stiched. He also has two scars running up his cheek. He carries an oxygen tank and a sleath for his umbrellas on his back.
Part I
Shigure and his team had the unfortunate luck of confronting Gaara during the second phase of the Chunin Exam. Shigure sought Gaara's scroll and underestimated his power. Shigure attempted to use his Senbon Shower technique but Gaara's sand protected him. Gaara then took the opportunity to confine Shigure and his team using the Sand Binding Coffin. Gaara then crushed the Rain Genin, killing them.
Trivia
- Shigure was named for a Japanese Destroyer in World War II with a strange record of surviving encounters. It's name translated to Autumn Rain.
