The Seven Ninja Swordsmen of the Mist
The Seven Ninja Swordsmen of the Mist (霧の忍刀七人衆, Kiri no Shinobigatana Nananin Shū) is an organization consisting of only the greatest blade-wielding shinobi that Kirigakure can produce, all of them S-Class and above. There can only be seven members at a time, hence the name.
History
The members of the Seven Ninja Swordsmen were the people who came from the Bloody Mist's graduation exams with the greatest battle skills. However, the members also had a great lust for power. This led many of them to defect and become missing-nin. Kisame Hoshigaki was the first to abandon the village. Later Zabuza Momochi would follow him after a failed coup d'etat and assassination attempt on the Mizukage. The Hozuki brothers, Mangetsu and Suigetsu both trained with the intention of joining the Seven Ninja Swordsmen together, their ambitions were cut short when Mangetsu died and Suigetsu got captured by Orochimaru.

- Raiga Kurosuki, "Thunder of the Hidden Mist" (霧隠れの雷人, Kirigakure no Raijin) (Missing-nin) (deceased, filler)
- Suigetsu Hozuki and Mangetsu Hozuki trained to become members of the Seven Ninja Swordsmen, but their ambitions were cut short by Mangetsu's premature death. Suigetsu is later recruited as a member of Team Hawk by Sasuke Uchiha.
- Demon Brothers seem to be kneeling at the bottom as they do in the anime, implying that they were part of the team. Nicknamed "Water Demons of the Mist" (Kirigakure no Mizusai)
