The Second Raikage (二代目雷影, Nidaime Raikage, literally meaning: Second Lightning Shadow) was the leader of Kumogakure during the First Shinobi World War.

Background

In his tenure, the Second Raikage entered Kumogakure into a formal alliance with Konohagakure. During the ceremony, both he and the Second Hokage were ambushed by the Gold and Silver Brothers, who were attempting to stage a coup d'état.[2]

Appearance

The Second Raikage has a dark complexion. He has very dark-coloured facial hair which includes a relatively long pointed beard, large sideburns that flair outwards to the side and an enormous tuft of hair, which protrudes directly upwards and over his forehead protector.

His typical attire consists of a high-collared variant of the standard Kumogakure uniform, worn over a mesh shirt and with his village’s respective flak jacket, which displays various additional adornments. Unusually, his right shoulder is clad in segmented armour, much like that worn by traditional samurai. He also has a white rectangular marking on his rather flat and broad nose similar to the markings on the noses of the Gold and Silver Brothers.
