A seal placed on the Fire Temple's gate, in order to defend against intruders from the outside world. The two statues placed on either side of the gate form a barrier. The seal can only be canceled by pouring in the Gift of the Hermit Group, special chakra peculiar to the ninja monks of the Fire Temple. However, as show when Kakuzu uses his Earth Release: Earth Spear to strike the gate, a powerful enough physical attack can destroy the seal.
