The scalpel is a extremely sharp small blade meant to cut through skin, tendons, and muscles. Used primarily by medical-nin, it is used to perform surgery. However, due to it's sharpness, it could also be used as a potent weapon against a foe. Kabuto Yakushi has been known to do so.[1]
