Sarada Uchiha (うちはサラダ, Uchiha Sarada) is an Academy student and a member of Konohagakure's Uchiha clan.
Personality
Sarada seems to have inherited traits from both her parents. Like her mother, she looks down on troublemakers and is quick to criticise them; she also seems to inherit her mother's catch phrase "Shannarō!" (しゃーんなろー). Like her father, she is reluctant to acknowledge certain people, but she's not above commending them when they deserve it. Also taking after her father, she seems to have better control of her emotions, as she doesn't seem to lash out despite her relationship with him being every bit as distant, if not more so than Boruto's relationship with his father. Despite this, she seems to have a close attachment with her father as she prefers to affectionately call him Papa (パパ).
Sarada is also a curious child. Despite finding Boruto Uzumaki annoying, she tails him around the village, observing him throughout the day. She comes to the conclusion that they indeed have something in common: the shaken bond they share with their fathers. Since she reveals these feelings to her mother, it is possible that they share a strong bond, evidence of this is that fact that she affectionately calls her mama (ママ). She also seems to have a distant, but close-connected relationship with her father.
Appearance
Sarada is a young girl with a fair skin complexion. She has shoulder-length black hair and black eyes that she inherited from her father. From her mother, she inherited the shape of both her eyes and face and wears a pair of red-rimmed glasses. She also bears some traits from her maternal grandmother, such as the shape of her eyelashes and her hairstyle. Her outfit consists of a pink jacket over a yellow vest and underneath a high-collared white shirt with a red tie, with black open toed boots.
Epilogue
After Boruto asked his classmates to join him in pulling a prank, none of them joined him, but Sarada did follow and observe him from afar, keeping herself hidden. Later when she arrived home, she told her mother that boys are stupid, but remarked that Bolt and herself had some things in common like their similar feelings towards their fathers.
Trivia
- Sarada (サラダ) is the Japanese pronunciation of the French word "salade". Her name is also derived from Saraswati, the Hindu goddess of knowledge. It is also the name of Sarada Devi; wife and spiritual counterpart of Ramakrishna.
- Sarada is the first Uchiha to be born after the Uchiha Clan Massacre.
