Giant Sand Burial

Following the Giant Sand Burial, Gaara slams both hands palm down into the sand, creating powerful shock waves that compress the sand. Anything buried in the sand is subsequently crushed. The compressions also create massive earthquakes.

Trivia

  • Using a pun common to Gaara and his jutsu, "giant sand burial" (砂瀑, sabaku) is pronounced the same as the Japanese word for "desert" (砂漠).
