"Sai and Shin" (サイとシン, Sai to Shin) is episode 263 of the Naruto: Shippūden anime.

Sai and Shin (サイとシン, Sai to Shin) is episode 263 of the Naruto: Shippūden anime.

Summary

This starts with the first enemies to appear Shin, Deidara and Sasori. Deidara makes shin explode and shin explains that sai must escape, but sai decides to fight back. Meanwhile,Kankurō traps both sasori and deidara. Sai remembers, when both shin and himself would be friends together and when he received a book to draw what he wants. Shin is discovered to have an incurable disease, of which he dies, while both shin and sai are fighting to the death beacuse of Danzo's strict order. Shin sees the pictures of both him and sai and therefore his soul is freed. Kankuro explains to sasori, how he used to be a ninja puppet maste, who used kabuto, now its the other way around, while Sasori tells kankuro to bestow his parents upon each other, of which kankuro replies, by saying okay. The others realize that this isn't over and they realize that sacrifices are needed for the edo tensei. Where Kabuto explains to Tobi, why he must keep Anko alive which, is to collect the remaining chakra of Orochimaru to help him get better control of the edo tensei from Anko Mitarashi.
