"Pain to the World" (世界に痛みを, Sekai ni Itami o) is episode 162 of the Naruto: Shippūden anime.

Synopsis

Inuzuka and the Aburame clan are facing the Preta Path and Konan respectively, while the Deva Path converses with Tsunade. After expressing their conflicting views on peace, the Deva Path is visibly angered by Tsunade's refusal to back down and accept Akatsuki's offer to surrender. Meanwhile Ino, Inoichi and Shizune are uncovering the truth behind Pain, but the Human Path arrives and kills Shizune by absorbing her soul and extracting information on where Naruto is. After doing so, the Animal Path summons all Six Paths of Pain (save the Deva Path) and Konan to a safe place. Declaring that Konoha shall know pain, the Deva Path performs a large-scale Shinra Tensei, reducing the village to a massive crater just as Shima attempts to summon help. As Sakura, who survived thanks to being protected by Katsuyu, pleads for Naruto to come back soon, he arrives, in Sage Mode, with Fukasaku, Gamaken, Gamahiro, Gamakichi and Gamabunta to the remains of Konoha to face Pain.
