After sustaining massive injury, or simply to escape from a seemingly inescapable attack, this technique allows the user to regurgitate a new body from their mouth, much like a snake sheds its skin. This technique requires a large amount of chakra to use, as Sasuke's reservoir was drained greatly when he escaped Amaterasu.
