"One Technique" (一つの術, Hitotsu no Jutsu) is chapter 596 of the original Naruto manga.
Summary
Noticing a slight crack on Tobi's mask, Guy and Naruto thought that Naruto's last attack had actually hit the mask; however Kakashi disagrees, noting that the type of crack could not have been caused by a punch, but by a sharper object. Then Kakashi remembers the kunai he threw to save Naruto and to which later he attacked with Kamui. This, therefore, made Kakashi begin to come up with a hypothesis on Tobi's ability. B takes the opportunity to strike the Demonic Statue of the Outer Path as it continues to transform into the Ten-Tails. The attack, however, was stopped when Tobi erected a barrier, making Naruto worry about B and Gyūki, and rendering the team powerless to strike the statue until they defeat him. After the skirmish, Kakashi continued to analyse the situation when finally he figured out a possible way to attack Tobi. He then tells the group to try what he came up with. They then leapt unto B's hand, who launched them directly at Tobi, commencing the plan. Guy starts off unleashing his Sōshūga only for Tobi to avoid it using his dematerialisation ability and predicting Guy's moves with his Sharingan. As a result, Guy loses the Söshüga and steps away from Tobi's front. Naruto then follows up quickly by launching a Rasengan, which is avoided easily by Tobi, who keeps insisting on the futileness of the strategy. However, the Rasengan seemingly dispersed before passing through Tobi, continued by a sudden explosion that inflicted his right arm and hurled him away, having him to get on his feet again thanks to his weapon. Tobi then realised that the attack was transported to his right arm, using Kamui, just as he was about to materialize. Realising Tobi's ability now, Kakashi notes that Tobi was not using two separate techniques to dematerialise and warp things away, but a single technique.
