Nerugui is a male ferret appearing in Naruto the Movie: Legend of the Stone of Gelel.
Nerugui is a long-time companion of Kahiko and his clan. He apparently does not take to people unless they are from the clan being especially connected to the royal bloodline.
Nerugui got visibly mad when Naruto was making fun of him for falling for their trap. He then attacked Naruto for this. Kahiko has described him as being shy and also said that he never attacks people.
He uses his claws to attach to someone's face and begins to claw at them. He also very fast and agile.
The reason he has lived so long is that he has a small piece of the Stone of Gelel in his mouth. After taking a strike from Haido, Nerugui survived, but regurgitated the stone.
Nerugui is a ferret with tan fur and red eyes. He has a black nose and all of his feet and lower legs are also black. He has four whiskers, two on each side of his face. He also has black fur all around his face and behind his ears. There is a small diamond shaped tan spot of fur in the centre of his forehead.
He was first seen when Naruto, Sakura and Shikamaru were on a mission of finding him. They have a hard time capturing him and bringing him back to Kahiko due to Naruto's ignorance and when they are attacked by Haido's knights, including Temujin. After Naruto and Temujin fall off a cliff during their fight, Nerugui is returned to Kahiko and his clan but decides to stick around with Temujin more than Kahiko.
He later attacks Haido but is struck down, causing him to regurgitate the Stone of Gelel that held down his ageing process. He later leaves with Temujin to the new land.
