I feel like I'm being targeted with this rule. I am going to file a grievance complaint with Central.--Cerez365Hyūga Symbol(talk) 18:28, June 20, 2013 (UTC)

damn. I just wanted to solve revert wars ;( — SimAnt 18:33, June 20, 2013 (UTC)
Hm, this seems rather harsh to me. What if no admin is around at a time and somebody tries to undo the work of a persistent troll? The policy just states that both parties will be treated equally, which could turn into an unfair situation for the one who tried to stop the nonsense.Norleon (talk) 18:34, June 20, 2013 (UTC)
That is why we discuss to make it good to everyone, it is first draft of a copy from another wikia. Also it doesn't apply to simple vandalism. — SimAnt 18:34, June 20, 2013 (UTC)
Okay, maybe that should be noted too. Otherwise, maybe somebody new here might misunderstand and hesitates with stopping the vandal.Norleon (talk) 18:39, June 20, 2013 (UTC)
I think there should be an exception in those cases. Depending on the severity of what the person is adding to the article we should be able to revert until we can get an Admin over. However if it's minor stuff like what happened in the sage Mode article today, then it can be left until an Admin gets here, or else the person leaves. In those cases, just consult with someone. Apart from that, no problem with the rule.--Cerez365Hyūga Symbol(talk) 18:40, June 20, 2013 (UTC)
Okay, how about now? — SimAnt 18:47, June 20, 2013 (UTC)
Looks good. Maybe you should include the word "undoing" as well though since I'm assuming it applies to that as well.--Cerez365Hyūga Symbol(talk) 19:16, June 20, 2013 (UTC)

I support the current draft of this policy. Seems it will do well enough to prevent edit warring. ~ Ten Tailed Fox Yamagakure Symbol 19:15, June 20, 2013 (UTC)

Been out of it (and I should, why am I on Narutopedia while at work?!) but what is the THree-Revert Rule and why are we discussing it?--TheUltimate3 Allied Shinobi Forces Symbol (talk) 19:19, June 20, 2013 (UTC)
Lol I do that all the time Ulti. Any way, just a guideline for reverting edits etc. No real "reason", SimAnt just deemed it necessary to add.--Cerez365Hyūga Symbol(talk) 22:53, June 20, 2013 (UTC)
There's never really that much revert warring so the policy would be kinda redundant imo. Does this cover images (in the sense of when User A get mad at User B because User B uploaded a higher quality image over the top of User A [eg User A uploads a 720p image, User B uploads a 1080p image, User A gets mad and revert wars over it]) ? --Speysider Talk Page | My Image Uploads | Tabber Code | Channel 14:21, June 24, 2013 (UTC)
