Is my '365' and the 'TM' an issue O.o?--Cerez365™ 01:31, November 7, 2011 (UTC)
- They are not "Nested" they are single layer, so no. SimAnt 01:37, November 7, 2011 (UTC)
- Oh, mk. I'm good then otherwise.--Cerez365™ 01:39, November 7, 2011 (UTC)
Looks reasonable to me, though I think some users have more than one non-user-age and non-talk-page in their signatures. Omnibender - Talk - Contributions 22:59, November 7, 2011 (UTC)
Colours[]

—Signature policy |
The signature policy allows the use of only two defined colours. The reason given for this is that it causes distraction which I totally disagree with. How can a little colourful signature cause any distraction? As it is signatures are used only on talkpages and forums. Any opinions? - There's nothing wrong with that part. And what's the point of colorful signatures? O.o ~IndxcvNovelist (talk | contribs | PR | RLS) 18:12, October 30, 2012 (UTC)
- Signatures are global (with few exceptions). I just don't see any reason to put such a restriction on signatures.— UltimateSupreme ƒ(♫) 03:33 UTC, Wednesday, 31 October 2012
- Whoever made the policy obviously doesn't want to see big flashy coloured signatures being placed on talkpages as I also find them to be very annoying and it's hard to concentrate on reading a talkpage message if there's a coloured signature at the end of it. >_>
- Suffice to say, your signature is a major distraction and I find it very annoying. --Speysider Talk Page | My Image Uploads | Tabber Code | My Wiki | Channel 21:55, October 31, 2012 (UTC)
- Agreed with Indxcv. I prefer see a signature with one color rather than a rainbow.--White Flash (Contact) 01:00, November 1, 2012 (UTC)

As I've said before, sysops have no more weight in discussions than normal users. No-one gets to interject and decide something without a proper rationale that anyone could provide.
Personally I kind of like Wikipedia's signature policy.
I would note that UltimateSupreme's argument has a serious flaw in it. Yes, signature preferences are global. However they are limited to 255 characters restricting the ability to do colourspam sigs. And users like UltimateSupreme who make large signatures do not use the global signature to do that. They use the transclusion system. And transcluded pages are not global. There is nothing stopping him from using a different sig here. ~ Daniel Friesen (DanTMan, Nadir Seen Fire) (Local Talk ⁝ Animanga Talk) 08:49, November 12, 2012 (UTC)
Talkpage link[]
Currently, the policy states that it is strongly recommended to include a linkback to your user talkpage, but this is ambiguous and people will take this to meaning that it isn't required. Can the policy be changed to make it so that it is required to have a link to your talkpage in your signature ? --Speysider Talk Page | My Image Uploads | Tabber Code | Channel 13:47, April 4, 2013 (UTC)
That should be alright seeing that now thats the default pattern.~ UltimateSupreme 17:05, April 4, 2013 (UTC)
