I think this particular policy page has long since served its purpose and was likely created only for the founding aspects of the wiki. As we don't actually "copy" whole pages from Wikipedia (given that they either don't exist, or already exist on the wiki in own wording anyway), I propose to remove this page, since it's pretty much pointless. --Sajuuk 15:16, June 27, 2016 (UTC)

Bumping as this appears to have gone un-noticed. --Sajuuk 10:31, August 16, 2016 (UTC)
I remembered the existence of this page and thought the help page doesn't really help the wiki at this point as it encourages a relative lack of effort from the editor. The creation of pages using Wikipedia content is not good for the wiki's SEO - as Google will simply refuse to index the page until it "offers something new", in their words. Its definitely worth taking the time and pain to build a new article from scratch based on canonical sources, especially considering that the end result is far more likely to be in line with other Narutopedia policies. -SPD •📞•✎ 23:29, October 22, 2016 (UTC)
Even if that were the case, this page only seemed to have been made to assist in the transferring of Naruto content from WP to here, way back in 2007/2008 and there's hardly any pages using WP-only content (those that do are either being rewritten or can be rewritten to be original). --Sajuuk 11:46, October 24, 2016 (UTC)
If I recall correctly, this wiki took a few years to become a serious original offering of its own. In any case, yes - this is indeed a useless project page as the pages that do get made now are sandboxed, created/moved by users and not forked from Wikipedia. -SPD 22:04, November 8, 2016 (UTC)
