• See {{Infobox/Character}} and it's links for most of the template parameter explanation.
• image name should not contain the Image: start.
• manga debut should be in the format "''Naruto'' Chapter #".
• anime debut should be in the format "''Naruto'' Episode #" or "''Shippūden'' Episode #".
• appears in should be either "Anime and Manga", or "Anime only". Assume that a character will show up in the Anime later on and do not use "Manga only" unless a characer is explicitly excluded from the anime.
• rank should be the highest rank that the character has reached. For the student ninja who are supposed to gain ranks through the series use the Part I/Part II format shown above, but for those who have a single static rank and do not change, just enter the rank name on the same line as the rank = and leave out any extra formatting as the infobox will automatically attempt to link those.
• classification may be Missing-nin, Sannin, and/or Jinchūriki. Do not use Hunter-nin or Medical-nin as those are occupations. (This is a comma(,) separated list; Do not link and do not use extra syntax, the infobox will automatically link the classifications.)
• In the birthdate do not use any link format as we are not going to be creating month, day, or year pages on the wiki.
• blood type may be any of the A, B, AB, O or unknown and automatic categorization will be put in place.
