Naruto (ナルト, NARUTO) is a manga by Masashi Kishimoto with an anime TV series adaptation. The manga was first published by Shueisha in 1999 in the 43rd issue of Japan's Shōnen Jump magazine. The anime series, produced by Studio Pierrot and Aniplex on October 3, 2002. From that point onward, many more franchises have emerged from the manga such as supplementary data collated by the author, movies, games video games, and even an accredited spin-off.
