Naruto x UT is the eighth Naruto OVA.

Behind the Scenes

Uniqlo is a Japanese retailer of casual clothing that sells T-shirts designed by Masashi Kishimoto in conjunction with Studio Pierrot, they are as subject to the characters in the Naruto series. These shirts are accompanied by an OVA of Naruto (Naruto x UT Original DVD) to promote their sale. About 200,000 copies of this special OVA will be distributed.

Synopsis

Sakura cries, holding a seemingly dead Naruto, who has slash marks in his chest, in her arms, with Kakashi beside her. A recap is shown of Naruto and Sasuke's fights. They both face each other in battle again, Naruto in Sage Mode using Chakra Blades and Sasuke using his Sword of Kusanagi. They finish with a Rasengan and Chidori. After the flashback, Naruto wakes up, comforting the crying Sakura, who joyfully embraces him. Meanwhile, Kabuto and Tobi gaze at the aftermath of the battle, then they walk away. A wounded Sasuke smirks and shows his Sharingan, which changes into Itachi's Mangekyō Sharingan, and then into Sasuke's own, following the cry of an infant.

• Mayonaka no Orchestra, the sixteenth ending song of the Naruto: Shippūden anime, is used in this OVA.
