Naruto's version of Sasuke Uchiha's Lion Combo, which is Sasuke's version of Rock Lee's Front Lotus. Naruto makes four shadow clones who, after one clone punches the opponent and the original Naruto leaps on his back, bounds off and performs a set of frontal somersaults. The shadow clones then consecutively kick the opponent into the air with corresponding shouts: "U!" (う) "Zu!" (ず) "Ma!" (ま) "Ki!" (き), from each clone once making contact with the real Naruto yelling "Naruto Rendan!" (ナルト連弾!) as he slams his heel from above. In the English dub, Naruto instead yelled: "Na!" "Ru!" "To!", "Uzumaki Barrage!" while doing the attack. This is done so that the original Naruto can get the timing right and know when to kick the opponent down.
Naruto performs this technique differently whenever he uses it, which seems to indicate that he makes up most of the technique as he goes along.
Trivia
- While this technique is no more effective than the Lion Combo, it's given a higher rank because of Naruto's use of shadow clones.
- In the Clash of Ninja series, Kakashi can perform this jutsu by copying it with his Sharingan.
- In episode 196, Naruto impersonated Sasuke and briefly referred to the technique as Lion Combo.
