The European cover of the game
Naruto Shippūden: Ultimate Ninja 5 (ナルト 疾風伝ナルティメットアケスル, literally meaning: Naruto Shippūden: Narutimate Accel 2) is the fifth installment in the Ultimate Ninja series. It has been featured in an issue of Weekly Shonen Jump, where both the appearance of the time-skip version of Sasuke Uchiha and the usage of assist characters have been confirmed. It was scheduled to be released sometime in December 2007, as well as feature 62 playable characters. It will be released in Europe on November 27, 2009 and Australia December 3, 2009. It is unkown if the game will have a North-American release.
Game Modes
- Master Mode - Go through the Story Mode with some characters available during adventure, starting from the Rescue Gaara arc to the Sai and Sasuke arc. After you finished Master Mode, you can play through Sasuke's storyline.
- VS. Battle - Find a friend or fight the CPU in a Battle. You can set the CPU difficulty level in the option screen below.
- Practice - Practice combos and jutsu with CPU or a friend. In this mode there is infinite time, health, and chakra.
Furthermore, 2nd mode characters will be another feature, such as Naruto, Sasuke, Sasori, Gaara, and Rock Lee
