Naruto: Shippūden (ナルト 疾風伝, Naruto Shippūden, literally meaning: Naruto Hurricane Chronicles) is the anime adaptation of Part II of the manga, set two-and-a-half years after Sasuke Uchiha's defection and Naruto Uzumaki's training with Jiraiya and finally returned. The series is still being shown in Japan on TV-Tokyo, since it has not finished. Viz distributes a subtitled version of the series on its website on Thursdays. The English dub began airing on Disney XD on Wednesday, October 28, 2009. Dubbed episodes are released uncut on iTunes and Amazon Video on demand before they air on Disney XD at Saturday 11:00 pm, though they had edited and censored for blood, language, and anything suggestive. Though the time slot has changed to 11:00 pm on Saturday night, the edits are far less noticeable. Viz Media has released uncut DVDS of Naruto Shippuden containing the original uncut English dub and Japanese version, on their online store.
