Naruto: Clash of Ninja Revolution is the third North American installment of the "Clash of Ninja" series. It was released in North America on October 23, 2007. It is the first "Clash of Ninja" game to be released on the Wii outside Japan. The game contains twenty playable characters. Clash of Ninja Revolution covers the events of the Chūnin Exams arc to the end of the Search for Tsunade arc. Clash of Ninja Revolution uses the same gameplay engine as Gekitou Ninja Taisen EX. The game utilizes the Wii Remote and Nunchuk for basic attacks and for special attacks that require specific movements from both items. The classic controller and GameCube controller are also compatible with the game. Unlike the third installment in the "Gekitou Ninja Taisen" series, Naruto: Gekitou Ninja Taisen 3, this game contains Kisame, who was not a playable character in the Japanese series until Naruto: Gekitou Ninja Taisen 4. Also Kiba Inuzuka and Choji Akimichi are not playable characters, whereas they are in Gekitou Ninja Taisen 3.
