Moegi (モエギ) is one of the supporting characters of the series. She is a ninja; a genin-level kunoichi of Konohagakure, and together with her friends, Konohamaru and Udon, she is a member of Team Ebisu, under the tutelage of their Jōnin-sensei, Ebisu.
Her cheeks seem to always have a red blush to them. Moegi appears to have a crush on Konohamaru, and idolizes Sakura Haruno. She also seems to fallen for Sasuke Uchiha's charm after he crushes a rock in his hand that both Moegi and Sakura proclaim as "cool".

Moegi is quite optimistic and free spirited. She is very confident, albeit being dependant on Konohamaru in Part I. In Part II she has become much more like Sakura, shown most prominently when Konohamaru preformed his Sexy: Girl on Girl Technique. Before Sakura had a chance, Moegi became furious and punched him, saying it was a stupid idea to create a technique as useless and ridiculous as that. But in the manga it was Sakura who punched him.

[edit] Rescue Gaara arc
After making a few brief appearances in Part I, Moegi and the rest of Team Ebisu appear at the start of Part II, having returned from a mission of finding a lost cat in time to greet Naruto Uzumaki.
[edit] Hidan & Kakuzu arc
In the anime, Moegi appears again when Konohamaru was demonstrating his Sexy: Girl on Girl Technique. Moegi beats him up for creating such a perverted and seemingly useless technique, causing him to fly far away with her punch making her similar to Sakura. In the manga, Sakura is the one to punch Konohamaru.
