Fū switches his spirit with a puppet he laid somewhere in the area, and controls the puppet to attack an opponent. When the opponent attacks the puppet, the two consciousnesses will be switched; Fū will gain control of the opponent's body, while the opponent's mind will be trapped in the puppet. Torune claims that this trap always works. Fū's body is left defenseless while the jutsu is in effect, similar to the Mind Body Switch Technique. Any damage done to the victim's body that Fū has taken over is transferred to his true body as well, but this can be rectified if Fū cancels the jutsu before the victim's body receives the damage.
