Lee opens the first five of the Eight Gates and swiftly kicks his opponent into the air. He then jumps up, and does a kick so powerful that his opponent is set on fire. This technique appears to be a stronger version of the Leaf Whirlwind.

Lee has also preformed this technique in Rock Lee's Springtime of Youth Full Power Ninja Chronicles.

-Lee opens the first three of the [[Eight Gates]] and does a more enhanced version of [[Leaf Whirlwind]] which looks similar to [[Might Guy]]'s [[Morning Peacock]]. He then jumps up, kicks the enemy, shouting "Leaf Hot Wind". This does more damage than a normal Leaf Whirlwind and another difference is that when Lee uses Leaf Whirlwind he doesn't kick the opponent into the air.
