He is a shinobi from Konohagakure.
Background

During the Nine-Tails' Attack on Konoha, he was seen placing the young shinobi inside a barrier, informing them that they were to stay out of the fight against the Nine-Tailed Demon Fox, to which his daughter Kurenai voiced her discontentment. He told his daughter that she is a shinobi who may or may not live a long life, and requested of her to live long enough to give him a grandchild whom the Will of Fire could be passed to.
Appearance Edit
Like his daughter, he has black hair, and very distinctive ringed, red eyes. He also has a very prominent jawline and wore the standard Konoha shinobi outfit with what appeared to be slightly longer sleeves than usual, shinobi sandals, his forehead protector which he wore like a bandanna, and a flak jacket. He also carried a sword strapped vertically over his right shoulder and a small cylindrical object strapped to his right lower back.
