This is the child of Asuma Sarutobi and Kurenai Yūhi and is a citizen of Konohagakure as well as a member of the Sarutobi clan.

Background Edit

Before Asuma died, Shikamaru Nara promised him that he would look after and train this child.^[1] The baby's gender is currently unknown. The baby was not seen until the Fourth Shinobi World War when Shikamaru pleaded with Chōji to help them stop a reincarnated Asuma from possibly being used to kill his own child, whom they had promised to protect.^[2]

Appearance Edit

The child has black hair and was depicted wearing a simple yellow kimono with blue trimmings, held closed by a simple white sash.

Trivia Edit

• During a question and answer session held at Tokyo's Jump Fest '09, Masashi Kishimoto stated that he was thinking of making Kurenai and Asuma's child a girl.
