Talking of the dark side\' of society, it might be useufl to add a bit of grammar to my previous post. How do you talk/write about crime?I have seen these errors recently:X The bad people were released from prison and crimed again.X The bad people were released from jail and committed.The first is wrong because crime\' is a noun, not a verb. The second is wrong because commit\' is a transitive verb and needs an object.Both problems can be solved by combining the two sentences so that the noun crime\' becomes the object of the verb commit\', like this: The bad people were released from prison and committed crime again.Hope this helps!
