He is a shinobi from Kumogakure and captain of the ship which escorted the Konohagakure delegation to the island.

Personality

He is a calm person and he seems to normally forget things that he was supposed to mention to others a lot. [2]

Appearance

He has brown spiky hair, a small goatee and dark eyes. He wears the standard Kumogakure shinobi outfit inclusive of flak jacket and forehead protector, with a black haori draped over his shoulder which has wave-like patterns on the edge. He also has his right eye closed constantly. Whether or not this is due to an injury or is simply a habit is unknown.

Part II

Confining the Jinchūriki Arc

He makes his début notifying everyone on the ship that they had arrived at their destination. He also compares the island to Konoha's Forest of Death and tells them of the animals living on the island and that they were all docile once left alone. He was also going to warn them of the hostile squid that inhabited the water, but was cut short by the giant squid's attack. Killer B arrives, with the captain happy to see him, in the form of the Eight-Tails and attacks the squid and saves Naruto. B greets everyone with an enka rap which Naruto thinks is a bad joke, but the captain tells him that's B's unique rapping style.
