Kizashi is a kind-faced man with blue eyes and dull-pink hair which is styled into the shape of a cherry blossom. He also has sideburns which flow into his angular moustache. He wears a dark, loose-fitting kimono-shirt with brown shorts and a pair of simple slippers.
Kizashi's alternate self was also seen wearing the standard attire of the Konoha-nin, inclusive of flak jacket. His hair is also a much darker colour.
Road to Sakura
Main article: Road to Sakura
After coming home from a sale across town with his wife, Kizashi finds Ino Yamanaka and a seemingly confused Sakura. Seeing her parents, Sakura runs off in tears. Kizashi finds the pendant Sakura dropped and returns it to her, wondering what had happened to his daughter. When returning the pendant, he notes that he had a similar one to her and shows it to Sakura. Sakura then tearfully embraced both of her parents.
It is later revealed that that Sakura was from an alternate world and her necklace was given to her by her father before her parents left to go into battle.
Naruto 6: Road to Ninja
- Kizashi can be translated as "a sign" or "an omen".
- Though he did not originate from the manga, Kizashi's character and designs were created by Masashi Kishimoto himself, due to being personally involved in the making of Naruto 6: Road to Ninja.
- In Naruto 6: Road to Ninja, Minato wasn't appointed as Konoha's Fourth Hokage, instead it was Sakura's father, Kizashi.
- However, mimicking the original timeline, tragedy that befell both Konoha's Fourth Hokage Minato and Kushina, Kizashi and his wife, despite having spent an unspecified amount of years of their life with their daughter, unlike Minato or Kushina, ultimately died during a battle, leaving Sakura an orphan.
