Kinoto (乙) is a member of Konohagakure's ANBU faction Root.

Background

Shortly after the Third Great Shinobi War, Kinoto served as a bodyguard to Danzō Shimura during a meeting with Orochimaru after the latter had been passed over for the position for Hokage.

Later, he informed Danzō about Orochimaru's defection from Konoha. Three years later, Danzō requested Kinoto and Kinoe to retrieve a Sharingan from Kakashi Hatake in order for the latter to replace his own right eye, which was slowly losing its light.

Appearance

Kinoto has spiky brown hair. His face is generally concealed behind an ANBU mask which features red patterns across the surface. He wears the typical attire of the ANBU along with a tantō strapped to his shoulder.

Abilities

Kinoto, being an ANBU member was a considerably strong shinobi. He was also seen to be very stealthy being able to stay hidden and out of sight from many ninja. He also had a tantō which points to him being skilled in kenjutsu.

"乙" (Kinoto) is the second sign of the Chinese calendar.
