Kamatari (カマタリ) is the personal summon of Temari.
Appearance
Kamatari is a giant, white-furred weasel with an eye-patch covering his left eye. He carries a large sickle that is almost as long as himself.
Abilities
He was summoned using Temari's Giant Folding Fan as a medium through the Summoning: Quick Beheading Dance, after which he slices down everything in his path with enough force to decimate an entire forest. After he starts moving, he can't be seen by the unaided human eye. He was summoned holding a giant Kama with other smaller sickles around him and something that resembles a Chinese lantern with the kanji for scythe (鎌, kama) on it. In the manga, Kamatari gave a battle cry before attacking.
Part I
Sasuke Retrival Arc
Temari wanting to finish off her battle with Tayuya, a genjutsu specialist, Kamatari was summoned through the Summoning: Quick Beheading Dance. In a split second, Tayuya is quickly finished off, much to Shikamaru Nara's surprise.
Ultimate Weapon Arc
Kamatari once again made an appearance in this filler arc, where he is employed as the integral part of Shikamaru's strategy in an effort to bring Kujaku down.

Trivia
- Kamatari is an obvious reference to the Japanese yōkai kamaitachi (鎌鼬, literally meaning: scythe weasel); however, instead of being simply a weasel with razor sharp-claws, it is literally a weasel (鼬, itachi) with a scythe (鎌, kama).
