Kakkō (カッコウ) was a jōnin from Iwagakure.
Background
During the Third Shinobi World War he was partnered with Taiseki and Mahiru. He used his skills while fighting Team Minato, led by Kakashi Hatake. First he tried to extract information from Rin Nohara using genjutsu after she was captured, but this proved unsuccessful.[2][3] Later when Kakashi and Obito Uchiha attempted to rescue Rin, after seemingly being defeated by the duo Kakkō managed to corner them and even severely wound Obito with one of the boulders from the fall landing on Obito, crushing him and resulting in him suffering fatal injuries.[4] However, once Kakashi had received the Sharingan from a dying Obito, the tides turned and he was killed by Kakashi's Chidori, but not before Kakkō broke the White Light Chakra Sabre in two.[5]
