Minato explained that their mission was to sneak behind enemy lines and destroy [[Kannabi Bridge]]. On the way there, the group is spied upon by [[Mahiru]], who Kakashi attacks with his [[Chidori]]. Mahiru wounds Kakashi, and Minato uses his [[Flying Thunder God Technique]] to save him. After Minato kills Mahiru, he explains to his team that teamwork should be the most important factor for a unit. That night, Obito asked Minato why Kakashi acted like he did. Minato tells him that Kakashi's father, [[Sakumo Hatake]], was hated and committed suicide after saving his friends instead of completing the mission, making Kakashi live his life following every rule. Synopsis

Kakashi has just become a jōnin and has received gifts from his captain and team-mate Rin Nohara. Obito Uchiha, however, forgets to get Kakashi a gift, even though Rin had reminded him earlier. Obito claimed that he would surpass Kakashi once his Sharingan awoke. Minato explained that their mission was to sneak behind enemy lines and destroy Kannabi Bridge.
