Kōsuke (こうすけ, Kōsuke) was a young messenger toad from Mount Myōboku.

Personality

He seemed to be a very happy and cheerful toad, and took orders without hesitation.
Appearance Edit
Kōsuke is predominantly red in colour with blue markings around his eyes and on top of his head. He also wears a pair of green goggles. On his back he has the kanji for the word "gold" (金, kin).
Part II Edit
Invasion of Pain Arc Edit
When Naruto Uzumaki goes to Mount Myōboku to train, Kōsuke is left in Konoha to become a sort of emissary between the toads and the Hidden Leaf Village. He was placed under the direct command of Tsunade, so that she may contact Naruto if trouble ever arose. When Pain finally attacks, Kōsuke is killed by Danzō before he can return to Mount Myōboku so that Naruto will not know to come back. Naruto eventually finds out anyway when the toads notice Kōsuke's name missing from the toad summoning contract.
Trivia Edit
- After Nagato used the Outer Path: Samsara of Heavenly Life Technique, Kōsuke's status remains unknown.
