Image

Perhaps yeah, but this image shows his face upclose like many other profile pictures does, and it also shows his tobi mask with the sharingan eye, which i think is far better than just the mask with a black hole, that we already do have in the all the images in the plot section of the article. The sharingan is shown in the article already, and sorry if things have changed, but wasn't there a rule that went something like, the main pic should show the first appearence. It seems that the poilcy is still in place: Narutopedia:Image policy under Placement in articles, second para. "For infobox images, we always use an image depicting the first appearance of the character. Basically for Naruto Uzumaki we prefer a image of him in Part I, and for Madara Uchiha we prefer an image of him as Tobi because that is the first appearance and primary appearance we see of him in the show."

The first appearence by Madara, was well as Tobi, not as Madara, and hence, not with the sharingan..AlienGamer ^{(Userpage ⁝ Talk)} 13:43, August 21, 2010 (UTC)

My mistake sorry, but i don't belive it makes a difference since his Tobi persona is somewhat different and also placed as a sub article for itself, to compare we have done the same to Nagato/Pain, where we originally used the the image of Pain but later switched to the image of Nagato, even though his first appearance was as Pain. Pain is a technique, similar to Sasori's Puppet Technique, therefore, we never really saw Nagato till they showed him. We saw his, well for lack of a better word, puppets. I feel that we are at a staltmate. Rules asside, which i still don't belive i am breaking with that image, what do you think of the idea that the profile image shows the sharingan instead of the simple black hole of the mask? I agree with AlienGamer. Although I don't think showing the Sharingan breaks the rules, the image is far too close up. It puts the focus on the Sharingan specifically, and not on the character as a whole. —ShounenSuki ^{(talk | contribs | translations)} 17:44, August 21, 2010 (UTC)

Infobox images show the character as they were when introduced, not their current appearance, otherwise no Konoha 11 would have part 1 images in their infoboxes. Omnibender - Talk - Contributions 21:56, September 27, 2010 (UTC)

Age

He's over 80. I don't know how to do references, but he states it in chapter 398. "It all starts more than 80 years ago. Back then, the world was embroiled in endless battles, an era of warring states. Nations were fighting over their right to exist or to expand their borders...We of Uchiha possessed exceptional chakra and the Sharingan. Excelling in all types of warfare, we became known as a battle clan. And then I was born..." -Madara. So, I feel we should add "Over 80" or "Around 80" to his infobox. The 80 dates back to when Uchiha and Senju were reaching the height of their rivalry and deciding upon peace. At that time Madara was probably in his early twenties. So Madara is probably nearing or exceeding triple digits, which is too vague for the infobox. ~SnapperTo 06:26, April 4, 2011 (UTC)
